		<description>Looks like they won&#039;t be taking up the chicken bylawon the 4th after all.   There is no mention of it on their agenda and Tina at City Hall had no info on upcoming action on it.</description>

The in-house area (4 sq. ft.) and the one-laying box-per-hen policies are the ones that I think most need to be scrapped, but the proximity measures are a bit confining too.</description>

		<description>The question is, will the proposed bylaw be made available to the public  prior to Feb 4?  I think that would make a big difference in how people on both sides of the issue respond at the council meeting.  It would at least be nice to know ahead of time whether they made any changes based on feedback from the proposed guidelines that were published last year. 

I am certainly looking foward to the day when the worst kept secret in my neighbourhood is no longer a &quot;secret&quot;.</description>
