The Vancouver City Council is looking at considering the bylaw change allowing backyard hens at its February 4, 2010 meeting (still tentative but probable). If you would like to see Council approve the bylaw change it would be a good idea to attend this meeting and be prepared to speak in support of the bylaw change.

If you are wanting to help change the Richmond Chicken Bylaw, you should go to this website: http://richmondfoodsecure.blogspot.com/.

There is a chicken class that we'll be teaching there on July 4th, and you should contact Arzeena about working on the Bylaw.
